It's been too long since I have visited my little blog. Life seems to just run away and left my poor little delusions of anyone reading this dribble in the dust. Here are a few things that we have been up too. 1. Terry decided to retire from the Coast Guard. We are selling our house here in New Jersey and destine to leave the state of toxic dirt and attitudes, and move back to our house in Maryland. Can I get a hot tub? Yes... yes I can! 2. Terry is finishing up his last class this summer, and he will have his BA in Business. Huge accomplishment for him, and of course he is planning to continue in a few years for a Masters degree. He might not ever use it but he wants it! 3. Heidi is graduating with her Masters in School Counseling in two weeks. While there are no job prospects just yet, faith is being held out that something will come along, even though Cody has made his thoughts on the idea of Mommy working very clear. "You shouldn't work, you are a lady." How did this once staunch feminist get a son who spews such sweet sounding rhetoric. 4. For Heidi's Birthday, Terry will be starting his new job as some kind of accountant for the Coast Guard. I know, you are thinking... Didn't he just retire from the Coast Guard, three lines ago? Yes, but he will be working for them in a civilian capacity. No more uniforms or salutes for that boy. 5. Trying to wrap up New Jersey, I wanted to do a couple of things with the boys we had not done since we have been here. We took that trolley ride, went up in the lighthouse, and finally visited a friend in PA only to find out just how carsick Aiden really can get in a 2 hour traffic delay. This event alone made a very compelling story of why Mama needs a new car. For now, I will be riding around in the vomit box until the lottery hits for us or Mom starts getting paid. Regardless, I think I might start actually playing the lottery. The trip to the Aquarium once we were up there however, was a lot of fun. Even though all these changes are going on, and at this point my personal future is uncertain, I can't bag on New Jersey too harshly. There are a lot of things here I will miss dearly. But don't worry Maryland... There is a lot I am looking forward too!
